Toffee

This is Toffee. She is a 4 year old, female miniature dachshund and is everything her name sounds like; Sweet, gentle, soft and playfull. She stayed with us for 11 days while mom and dad was working hard with their newly opened cake shop. Toffee is a sweetheart, truly fantastic and imediately stole my heart (- and my husbands). She really likes to go for walks and chasing pigeons who doesn't hold a landing permit! It only took a few hours for her to feel comfortable here. Toffee is a very well stimulated dog, well trained and well behaved. She fell in love with our balcony and the small garden I keep out there. She enjoyed coming with me to buy more flowers and as naughty and curious as she can be, she even succeeded in picking out a new toy for herself at the pet toy shop. She is truly uniqe and we can't wait for her return.

Thanks for your help Lene- we were desperate not to leave Toffee in a pet hotel (cage!) but knew we would be too busy to give Toffee the care she needed. We know Toffee got lots of love and attention and will leave her with you again.

Brandy

This is Brandy. A small, male Cocker Spaniel who has reached the golden age of 12. Brandy stayed with us for a week and after just a day, he felt so much at home here, that his naughty side immediately began to show... Brandy is a great dog. He is kind, sweet and gentle, except with his basket and his towel?! The favorite place in our home was determined on his first day here; Where the food- & walking person is (that would be me)! He loved to help me cook and cuddle up in the sofa and when it was playtime, he was not shy to tell us! Brandy also went out to "do lunch" with a friend and me and he l-o-v-e-d every minute of it! We had a lot of fun with Brandy and we do hope he can come back and stay with us again.

Dear Lene,
I am so grateful to you and your husband for taking such wonderful care of Brandy. Brandy can be difficult, especially with other dogs but you managed him beautifully.I loved getting your emails telling me in detail how Brandy was doing and you even cooked rice and chicken for him when his tummy was upset. You know so much about dogs and I have learned some good tips from you.
Brandy was happy and healthy when he came home and he behaves better too.
I would highly recommend you to anyone who needs a temporary loving and caring home for their pets.
Thank you Lene and Haru from me and Brandy.

Shadow & Ouzel

This is Shadow & Ouzel. Two wonderful cats, 15 and 16 years old, who stayed with us for 3 weeks. Shadow is a big black male cat and underneath that beautiful fur and his big green eyes, he is such a sweetheart who loves to be stroked gently on his head. Ouzel is the female, a tiny Birman cat, Beautiful and loving. She is very caring and soft and just loves to sleep on my stomach. Both Shadow & Ouzel adjusted to this home very fast and within the first few days, they had both found their favourite spots. Ouzel thinks that the office chair is the best place for napping! - While Shadow took the sofas armrest. We had a great time with them and are looking forward to the next time they come to share our lifes.

I can't thank you enough for the excellent care you gave my two old guys during their stay with you. And the photos of their stay in Yokohama are precious! You truly provide a home away from home. Many thanks, val

Spot & Shoga

This is Spot & Shoga. Two wonderful dogs, both very caring and loveable! I began the dog walking and the training of Shoga (with Shogas mom) in the middle of January 2006. Spot (right) has reached the age of 14 and likes taking things slow, although she also enjoys playing with Shoga. Shoga (left) is only 9 months old and so full of life and energy. She loves good long walks, digging and using her nose. She wants to learn and explore the world. To follow Shogas training progress is beautiful and I look forward to many wonderful dog-walks in the future.

I'm Spot and Shoga's Mom and I've been so fortunate to meet Lene! She has really helped me over the past few weeks; walking both Shoga and Spot while I'm at work, as well as training Shoga. She has given me so many good tips, and now I feel confident continuing with her training techniques. These days, thanks to Lene, it's a pleasure to walk my two dogs, as Shoga obeys the commands, that Lene has taught her. I would highly recommend Lene. She has a wealth of knowledge about dog behaviour, and her style of training is gentle, but very effective. Thanks so much Lene!!

Indeed, Edo is a special cat, but as his owner I can tell he recieved tons of love and care during his pet sitting. I was moved to found him so healthy and happy. I strongly recomend Lene's pet sitting service, and I'm sure every pet will experience a great time with them. Big thanks to Lene and her husband, and may this be a wonderful year for you both!!!
